The Religious Liberty Alert is a weekly email alert outlining religious liberty issues around the world drawn from a range of source. These alerts serve as an overview of current events and can supplement other "specialized ministries" material. This service is also available for posting on other websites. Contact us by email to be placed on the website distribution list.
Praying for persecuted believers and for nations where religious liberty is under threat is actually a great blessing, both for the person praying and for the person being prayed for. In intercessory prayer, the person praying enters into spiritual warfare on behalf of the persecuted. It is exciting to see God answering our prayers, strengthening faith, providing courage, making witness fruitful — even in prison — and delivering and intervening in history.
Each week, a Religious Liberty Prayer Bulletin email highlights a situation needing prayer along with specific prayer points. A short summary is provided to include in church notices and may be used in prayer groups and church services. A Religious Liberty Prayer Bulletin is sent at the end of each month.

For those wanting more detailed news and analysis, the WEA Religious Liberty Commission News & Analysis mailing list sends out one or two postings per week. A primary emphasis of this ministry is our need to "understand the times" and watch for trends and changes in the political and social climate that could affect religious liberty and security.
The WEA Religious Liberty News & Analysis postings provide information for people with a special interest in the state of religious liberty and persecution around the world.
